If I don’t like a singer, I’ll say no to a band. Guns N’ Roses are a perfect example. I realize that half the world considers Axl Rose rock royalty, but to me, he’s just a bad pub singer. They made the record they wanted to make without me, so it was all for the best. You can‘t dwell on what you didn‘t do. It’s what you did do that matters.
この間風邪をこじらせ、会社を早退した
一晩寝たら治ると思ってたが、次の日目が覚めたら体が動かなかった
枕もとのポカリ飲むのがやっとで、マジで這う事も出来ない
鞄の中で携帯が鳴ってても、そこまでたどり着けない
その内目の前が真っ白になってきて、あーこれヤバいと思いつつ意識が飛んだ
そしたら思いっきり鼻を噛まれて目が覚めた
忘れてたんだが俺は一人暮らしで、猫（メス・推定5歳）と住んでいる
不規則な仕事なんでこいつのメシと水は、
三日分くらいストック出来る自動給餌機使ってるんだが、
起こしに来たって事はメシが無くなったって事だ。
それにトイレ掃除もしてない
これはいかん、と思って死に物狂いで布団から這い出した
時々ふっと意識が途切れたが、その度猫に噛まれて覚醒
何とか部屋の真ん中まで来たところでまた携帯が鳴った
必死で出たら会社の同僚だった
何か言ってるが、全然頭に入ってこない
とにかく体が動かない事を伝えた所で本当に意識が飛んだ
次にハッキリ目が覚めたら病院にいた
医者の話を聞いて驚いたんだが、
俺は過労と栄養失調から風邪がこじれて肺炎になりかけていたらしい
ついでに早退した次の日と思ってたら、既に三日経っていた
熱で意識がぶっ飛んでいたらしい
同僚が来て救急車を呼んでくれなかったら、本当に死んでいたそうだ
付き添っていてくれた同僚に礼を言った後、猫の世話を頼んだ
迷惑とは思うが、メシと水とトイレの始末してもらえば後は何とかなるから
そう言ったら、同僚がちょっと変な顔をした
「いや、猫いなかったぞ？つーか、猫の物なんか無かったぞ」
覚えてないが救急車で運ばれる前、
俺はずーっと猫の事を言い続けていたそうだ
だから世話をしようとしてくれたそうだが、
猫もいなければ給餌機もトイレも見当たらなかったらしい
「仕方ないから、コンビニで猫缶買って開けてきたけどさ」
そんな訳無いだろ、と言い掛けてぞっとした
何で忘れてたのか分からんが、猫はもういなかった

その事言ったら、今度は同僚が青くなった
俺が電話に出た後ろで、猫がでかい声で鳴いていたそうだ
俺は今朝退院して所だが、連休に入ったら墓参りに行く事にした
